North Highlands Explorer Post # 4021

Explorers meet monthly at the firehouse.  This Post participates in non-emergency training and support operations and are a vital resource for this department.

Explorers are trained in

• Fire suppression
• Fire equipment use
• Apparatus safety
• Emergency scene safety
• Vehicle extrication
• Mountain and water rescue
• Scene support operations

Membership Requirements

• Between 14 and 21 years old
  Have completed the 8th grade
  Be in good physical health and of good moral character
  Provide parent/guardian consent
